Skadekompassen Skadekompassen is a Swedish health platform with two clinics (Gothenburg & Stockholm), an established e-commerce shop, and full-service logistics for rentals, new and pre-owned sales. Our evidence-based articles reach both healthcare professionals and consumers, driving confident, informed purchases. We are seeking manufacturing partners for exclusive import & distribution.

What we seek

Our focus of Required Specifications

  • Form factor: Portable “laptop” unit
  • Display size: 15–17 inches
  • Acoustics: Quiet operation (clinic/office friendly)
  • Power & battery: Seamless power handover between AC and battery without reboot (hot-swap / no restart)
  • Image contrast: High contrast with deep blacks and strong brightness; clear differentiation of layers & fibrous structures (slight graininess acceptable if contrast is excellent)
  • Probe (linear, high-frequency): High-quality linear probe optimized for MSK (exact footprint width less critical if matched to the system and MSK use)
  • Split screen: True side-by-side comparison of two images; both full images must be shown (scaled down), not cropped
  • Depth for MSK: Reliable imaging down to 5–6 cm (appropriate lower frequency support for deeper structures)
  • Software mode: Trapezoidal / Virtual Convex imaging on the linear probe (wider field of view for joints such as shoulder and hip)
  • Frequency figures: Absolute Hz numbers are less important than practical image quality at the depths stated above

Regulatory & Localization (for Sweden/Nordics)

  • EU-MDR compliance with CE-mark; documentation set (EU DoC, NB certificate + annex/device list where applicable)
  • UDI readiness (UDI-DI/GTIN per model and UDI-PI per unit)
  • IFU languages: Swedish for Sweden; readiness for DK/NO/FI as applicable or authorization to translate
  • Service package: Service manual, training requirements for external partner, in-service test policy (e.g., IEC 62353), spare parts and turnaround targets
